NE Climate

At NE Climate we develop and operates climate projects to reduce CO2 emissions. The company was founded in 2005 as a spin off from Danish energy company Neas Energy (now Centrica) and has since been active in project development within UN’s Clean Development Mechanism.

NE Climate is a founding partner of the Danish Carbon Fund, established and managed by the World Bank, to develop Clean Development Mechanism Projects around the world.

For more than a decade we have actively been developing CDM projects across the world, while also making forays into the Voluntary Carbon Offset business and the trading of various renewable energy certificates.

In NE Climate we believe in a carbon neutral future and it is our objective is to combat global climate change by developing projects with cost efficient reductions of carbon emissions.

We provide project financing and project development capabilities for low carbon development projects and team up with local partners and experts to ensure local commitment and reliability of project performance.
